Walking
If you are in downtown Pagosa Springs, start at the intersection of Hot Springs Blvd and 8th St. Head west on 8th St until you reach the intersection with Pagosa St. Turn left onto Pagosa St and walk south until you reach the San Juan River. Continue walking along the riverbank on the trail, which will lead you towards Cotton Hole Park. The park will be on your left, just past the small footbridge.

If you are near the Pagosa Springs Community Center, you can rent a bike. Start on the bike path heading north towards the river. Follow the path along the San Juan River, and you will come across Cotton Hole Park on your left. The bike ride is approximately 1 mile and should take around 10-15 minutes.
