    The AHRA Visitor Center is located in downtown Salida, at 307 W Sackett Ave, on the corner of G St and Sackett Ave. From most downtown locations, it's easily accessible on foot. Just head towards the intersection of G Street and Sackett Avenue. The visitor center is open Sunday through Tuesday, Thursday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check for current hours as they may vary.

  • Public Transport

    If you're arriving in Salida via the Bustang Outrider bus service, the stop is located at 54 Jones Ave. From there, you can utilize the Mountain Valley Transit (formerly Chaffee Shuttle) to reach the AHRA Visitor Center or other locations within Salida. It is best to call at least 24 hours in advance to schedule a ride. Donations are appreciated for the free service. Cost: Free, donations appreciated.

  • Taxi/Ride-Share

    Taxi services are available in Salida. From anywhere in Salida, a taxi or ride-share to the AHRA Visitor Center at 307 W Sackett Ave will be a short trip. Expect to pay around $8-$15, depending on the company and distance.
