    Mountain Valley Transit (formerly Chaffee Shuttle) provides public transportation in Salida. Check their website or call for schedules and routes to the park. Although the service is free, donations are appreciated.

  • Parking

    Ample parking is available at Riverside Park. A public parking lot is located just east of the Arkansas River on North F Street, next to the park; this parking is free. Additionally, a temporary public parking lot is available at the corner of First and D Streets. Parking is also available along Sackett Avenue, though it may be closed during events.
