    From downtown Salida, head southeast on E Sackett Ave toward S F St. Continue straight onto CO-291 S/Salida Ave. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto US-285 S. Walk along this highway for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with County Road 175. Turn right onto County Road 175 and continue for about 1.5 miles. Sands Lake SWA will be on your right at 8720 Co Rd 175.

    Starting from the Salida River Park, take the bike path heading southeast. Follow the path until it merges onto E Sackett Ave. Continue on E Sackett Ave to CO-291 S/Salida Ave. Take a left onto US-285 S and bike for about 1.5 miles. At County Road 175, take a right and bike on this road for another 1.5 miles. Sands Lake SWA will be located on your right at 8720 Co Rd 175.
