From the San Miguel Mountains, head east on CO-62 E for about 30 miles until you reach the intersection with US-550. Turn left onto US-550 N and continue for about 20 miles. Take the exit toward Montrose and merge onto US-50 E. After approximately 5 miles, take the exit for Miami Rd. Turn left onto Miami Rd and the Museum of the Mountain West will be on your right at 68169 Miami Rd, Montrose, CO 81401. Note: There might be a parking fee depending on the lot you choose.
