Continue walking for approximately 1 mile; you will pass by several residential areas, so stay on the main road. Look for the Fish Creek Falls parking area on your left. From the parking area, there is a well-marked trail that leads to Upper Fish Creek Falls. The trail is about 0.5 miles long and is relatively easy to navigate, though it can be steep in some sections. Follow the signs to reach the falls.

If you prefer using public transit, you can take the Steamboat Springs Transit bus. Board the Route 2 (Fish Creek) at any designated bus stop in downtown Steamboat Springs. Stay on the bus until you reach the Fish Creek Falls Road stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile along Fish Creek Falls Road to reach the parking area. Once at the parking area, follow the marked trail to Upper Fish Creek Falls, which is about a 0.5 mile hike uphill.
