Continue on CO-12 for about 5 miles, enjoying the scenic views. The entrance to Trinidad Lake State Park will be on your left at 32610 CO-12. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws.

If you prefer to walk to Trinidad Lake State Park from downtown Trinidad, start at the Trinidad History Museum located at 312 E Main St. Walk east on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Colorado Highway 350.
