If you are driving from downtown Hartford, take Main Street south towards I-91 S. Merge onto I-91 S and continue for about 2 miles. Take exit 29 for I-84 W toward Waterbury. After about 1 mile, take exit 46 for Park St. Merge onto Park St and continue straight. Turn left onto Lincoln St. The Allen Place–Lincoln Street Historic District will be on your right at 43 Lincoln St, Hartford, CT 06106.

From Hartford Union Station, take the CT Transit bus route 40 towards Parkville. The bus will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop at Park St and Lincoln St. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk: head east on Park St, then turn left onto Lincoln St. The Allen Place–Lincoln Street Historic District will be on your left at 43 Lincoln St.
