Train
From Greenwich, head to the Greenwich Train Station located at 2 Railroad Avenue. You can take the Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line towards Grand Central Terminal. The train ride to New York City takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, follow the signs to the 42nd Street Shuttle (S) towards Times Square. Transfer to the 7 train towards Flushing at Times Square-42nd Street. Get off at the 33rd Street Station. From there, walk east to 1st Avenue and then north towards the East River, where you will find the Hell Gate Bridge.

From Greenwich, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Greenwich Library on West Putnam Avenue. Take the CTTransit Bus #10 towards Stamford. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the Stamford Transit Center. From there, transfer to the Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line and board a train towards Grand Central Terminal. After arriving at Grand Central, take the 42nd Street Shuttle (S) to Times Square. Transfer to the 7 train towards Flushing at Times Square-42nd Street. Get off at the 33rd Street Station and walk east to 1st Avenue, heading north towards the East River where the Hell Gate Bridge is located.
