    From anywhere in Housatonic Valley, head towards Route 9 to connect to East Haddam. If you're starting from the center of the Valley, take Route 7 South to Route 8, then merge onto Route 9 North. Follow signs for East Haddam and take Exit 7 for Route 82. Turn left onto Route 82 and continue until you reach River Road. Turn right onto River Road, and Gillette Castle State Park will be located on your left at 67 River Rd, East Haddam, CT 06423. There is a parking fee of $10 for non-residents.
