Train
From Stamford, head to the Stamford Train Station, which is located at 30 Station Pl, Stamford, CT 06902. You can walk there by heading north on Atlantic Street, taking a left onto Main Street, and continuing straight until you reach the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to New York Penn Station. The trains to New York run frequently, so check the schedule for the next available train. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Penn Station in New York City, follow the signs to the 7th Avenue exit.

Subway
After exiting Penn Station, walk to the nearby 34th Street-Penn Station subway entrance. Take the A, C, or E line downtown (towards Brooklyn or World Trade Center). Get off at 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal and transfer to the 1 subway line. Take the 1 train uptown (towards 242nd Street) and get off at the 59th Street-Columbus Circle station. Exit the subway station and head southeast towards Central Park. Your destination, the NYC Central Park Horse Carriage Rides, will be located at the junction of 7th Avenue and 59th Street.

From Stamford, take the Greyhound or Megabus from the Stamford Bus Station (located at 1 Atlantic St, Stamford, CT 06901) to New York City. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the bus terminal in New York City, follow the signs for local buses or subways to reach 59th Street. You can also walk to Central Park from the terminal, which is about a 15-20 minute walk. Head east on W 42nd St toward 8th Ave, then turn left on 7th Ave and walk up to 59th Street.
