To reach Heckscher Playground, start by locating the nearest subway station. If you are near Times Square, take the 1, 2, or 3 train from Times Square-42nd Street station. Travel uptown to 59th Street-Columbus Circle station. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk east on 59th Street towards Central Park. Turn left on 7th Avenue, then right on E 65th Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the entrance of Heckscher Playground, which is located inside Central Park.

If you prefer to take the bus, find a stop for the M1, M2, M3, or M4 buses. Board any of these buses heading uptown on Madison Avenue. Get off at the stop at E 65th Street and Madison Avenue. From there, walk west on E 65th Street towards Central Park. Heckscher Playground will be on your left as you approach the park.
