If you're traveling by car from any location in The Quiet Corner, head west on Route 44 or Route 6 towards Hartford. Merge onto I-84 W and continue until you reach the exit for I-91 S toward New Haven. Take exit 22N for I-90 W toward Albany. Continue on I-90 W and take exit 12 for Route 9W toward Kinderhook. Follow signs for Kinderhook and merge onto Route 9W. Continue on Route 9W for approximately 15 miles until you reach Kinderhook. Turn onto Old Post Rd, and the Martin Van Buren National Historic Site will be on your right at 1013 Old Post Rd, Kinderhook, NY 12106.
