Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Hudson Amtrak Station located at 74 South 3rd Street, Hudson, NY. Exit the station and head south on South 3rd Street. When you reach the intersection with Warren Street, turn left onto Warren Street and continue walking until you reach the waterfront at the Hudson River. Here, you will find the Hudson River Waterfront Park. From this park, you can enjoy the views of the river and the surrounding landscapes. Next, head north along the waterfront path until you reach the area near the ferry terminal. Look for signs for the ferry service to Coxsackie, as Hudson River Islands State Park is accessible primarily via boat. The ferry schedule may vary, so check the timings ahead of your visit.

  From Hudson, walk to the Hudson Amtrak Station at 74 South 3rd Street. Take the Amtrak train towards New York City and get off at the next station, which is the Rhinecliff-Kingston Station.
