If you are starting from the main beach area in Arorangi, head towards the beach and walk towards the west. Follow the coastline along the sandy path, enjoying the views of the ocean on your left. Continue walking until you reach the end of the beach area where the path leads to Vaiakura Tapere. Once you reach the end of the beach, look for the sign indicating Vaiakura Tapere. From there, follow the road that curves inland. Keep walking straight for about 10-15 minutes, and you will see Anchor's Rest on your right side. It’s a holiday home located in the Vaiakura Tapere area.

For those who prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a nearby shop in Arorangi. Start your ride from the main beach area, heading west along the coastal road.
