Cook Islands Tours is located in Avarua, easily accessible on foot from most accommodations and attractions in the town center. From the Punanga Nui Market, walk east along the main road (Ara Tapu) for about 5 minutes. The office is located on the left-hand side of the road.
Public Transport
The local bus service, Cook's Island Bus, offers clockwise and anti-clockwise routes around the island, with frequent stops in Avarua. A single ride costs $5 NZD, and a day pass is available for $20 NZD. From the bus terminal in Avarua, walk towards the main road (Ara Tapu) and head east. Cook Islands Tours will be on your left.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Rarotonga. A short taxi ride from anywhere in Avarua to Cook Islands Tours will cost approximately $4-$6 NZD. Licensed taxis are bright green and can be found near the Punanga Nui Market or at designated taxi stands.
