Bus
From Avarua, catch the local bus heading south towards Muri. Inform the driver you wish to get off at Titikaveka Beach. The bus fare is approximately NZD 5, and the journey takes about 20-30 minutes. The bus stop is a short walk from the beach entrance. Alternatively, from Rarotonga Airport, take the bus towards Muri; the journey to Moana Sands Beachfront Hotel, Titikaveka, takes approximately 24 minutes and costs between $3-12.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available from Avarua or the airport. A taxi ride from Rarotonga Airport to Titikaveka takes about 18 minutes and costs approximately $29 - $35. From Avarua, expect a slightly lower fare.
Car
From Avarua, head south on Ara Tapu Road for about 10 kilometers. Watch for signs indicating Titikaveka Beach. A small, free parking area is available near the beach entrance. From Rarotonga Airport, the drive is about 15 kilometers and takes approximately 18 minutes.
