From the Avarua Market in the town center, head east on Ara Tapu Road. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers, passing shops and eateries. Look for signs indicating the direction to Pa Monument and turn left onto a smaller road. Walk straight for another 500 meters to reach the monument on your right. There are no entrance fees.
Public Transport
Take a local bus from the Avarua Market towards Avatiu. Inform the driver you wish to stop near the junction leading to Pa Monument. After getting off, walk east on Ara Tapu Road for about 500 meters, then turn left towards the monument. A single bus fare is approximately $5 NZD.
