From Avarua, locate the nearest bus stop on Ara Tapu Road. Take the local bus heading towards Muri and inform the driver you are going to Maire Nui Gardens. The bus journey takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to Maire Nui Gardens. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance. A single bus fare is approximately NZ$5.
