From the center of Avarua, head southeast on Ara Tapu (the main road). You will walk past the Avarua Market on your left. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Muri Beach. As you approach the Muri area, the road will curve slightly to the left. Follow this curve and you will see Muri Beach ahead of you. Cross the small road leading to the beach entrance.

If you are renting a bicycle, start from Avarua town center and head south on Ara Tapu. The ride to Muri Beach is approximately 3 kilometers and should take about 15-20 minutes.
