Walking
From Uvita town center, the waterfall is approximately a 20-30 minute walk. Head inland, following signs for the waterfall. The route is straightforward, but be prepared for some uphill sections. Taxis are readily available in town if you prefer not to walk.

Taxi
Taxis are a convenient way to reach the Waterfall and Hidden Natural Pools from anywhere in Uvita. A taxi from the town center will cost approximately 3,000 colones ($5 USD), or slightly more if you're staying closer to the beach. The ride is short, around 5 minutes from town and 10 minutes from the beach area. Agree on the fare beforehand or ensure the meter is running.

Car
If driving from Uvita, follow the signs to the waterfall, about a 10-minute drive from the town center. From the Costanera Highway, turn inland at the BCR (near Sibu Cafe). Continue past the cemetery and turn left at the large brown sign for the Uvita Mountain Community. The entrance to the waterfall parking will be on the right. Parking costs are included in the entrance fee at one entrance. A regular car is sufficient; a 4x4 is not required.
