Car
From the entrance of Cahuita National Park, head southeast on the main road (Route 36) towards Puerto Viejo. After approximately 7 km, you will reach a junction. Take a left turn onto Route 256 towards Punta Uva. Continue on Route 256 for about 4 km until you see signs for Playa Punta Uva. Turn right onto the road leading to the beach. There is limited parking available near the beach, so be prepared to walk a short distance.

Public Transportation
From Cahuita, head to the main bus stop on the main road. Look for buses heading towards Puerto Viejo. Confirm with the driver that they stop at Punta Uva. The bus ride takes about 20-30 minutes. Get off at the Punta Uva stop. From there, it is a short walk of about 500 meters to reach Playa Punta Uva Arrecife. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Cahuita. Start by heading southeast on Route 36 towards Puerto Viejo. After about 7 km, take a left onto Route 256 towards Punta Uva. Continue cycling for another 4 km until you see signs for Playa Punta Uva. The ride is scenic, but be cautious of traffic. There are bike racks available near the beach.
