From the entrance of Cahuita National Park, head southeast on the main road (Route 36) towards Puerto Viejo. After approximately 7 km, you will reach a junction. Take a left turn onto Route 256 towards Punta Uva. Continue on Route 256 for about 4 km until you see signs for Playa Punta Uva. Turn right onto the road leading to the beach. There is limited parking available near the beach, so be prepared to walk a short distance.

From Cahuita, head to the main bus stop on the main road. Look for buses heading towards Puerto Viejo. Confirm with the driver that they stop at Punta Uva. The bus ride takes about 20-30 minutes.
