    From the center of Cahuita town, the Kelly Creek entrance to Cahuita National Park is easily accessible on foot. The walk is generally short, taking you through the heart of the village towards the coast. The entrance is near the bus station and close to local amenities. Remember that entry here is by donation.

  • Public Transport

    If arriving from Puerto Viejo, take the MEPE bus to Cahuita. Buses run frequently, and the journey is approximately one hour. The bus will drop you off near the Kelly Creek entrance to the park. The fare is around $1.50 USD. From Limon, buses to Cahuita run every hour and cost approximately $2.5 USD.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available in nearby towns like Puerto Viejo and Limon. A taxi from Playa Cocles to Cahuita will cost $35-$45 USD and take approximately 26 minutes. From Limon Airport to Cahuita, a taxi will cost between $300-$400 USD. Within Cahuita, a ride inside the city center will normally cost 580-2500 colones.
