From the main entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park, head east on Route 618 towards Quepos. After approximately 4 kilometers, you will reach the town of Quepos. At the first major intersection in Quepos, turn left onto Route 34 (Costanera Sur). Continue on Route 34 for about 12 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Isla Damas. You will need to turn off Route 34 and follow the signs towards Isla Damas, which will lead you to a small boat dock. Parking is usually available nearby, but be aware that some lots may charge a small fee.

Public Transportation
From Manuel Antonio, take a local bus to Quepos. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Quepos, you will need to catch another local bus that goes to Isla Damas. The bus to Isla Damas can be found near the main bus station in Quepos. The bus to Isla Damas runs a few times a day, so check the schedule in advance. The fare is usually very affordable, around 1-2 USD. Once you arrive at the Isla Damas boat dock, you may need to pay a small fee to board a boat that will take you to the island.

Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can also hire a taxi or use a rideshare service from Manuel Antonio to Isla Damas. This option is more convenient but will be more expensive, typically costing around 30-50 USD depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. Just tell the driver you want to go to Isla Damas, and they will take you to the nearest boat dock. Keep in mind that you will still need to pay for the boat ride to reach the island.
