    From Quepos, take road 616 towards Naranjito and Londres. After passing these towns, continue onto the dirt road for approximately 30 minutes until you reach Los Campesinos Ecolodge. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended, especially during the rainy season. Parking is available at the ecolodge.

  • Public Transport

    From San Isidro de El General, take a bus to Quepos (approximately 1,500 CRC). In Quepos, transfer to a local bus heading towards Naranjito (approximately 500 CRC). Ask the driver to stop at Los Campesinos Ecolodge. The total travel time is about 1.5 to 2 hours.

Los Campesinos Ecolodge, located in the village of Quebrada Arroyo, offers an authentic and sustainable rural tourism experience just 25 km east of Manuel Antonio and Puerto Quepos. Developed by local residents, this communal project has been dedicated to conserving the natural environment and promoting ecotourism for over 18 years. The ecolodge boasts 33 hectares of primary and secondary forest, teeming with biodiversity. Visitors can explore well-maintained trails that lead to stunning waterfalls, refreshing natural pools, and impressive hanging bridges. The trails cater to various fitness levels, ensuring an enjoyable experience for families with children. Activities include guided forest walks, tours of a traditional sugar mill (trapiche), horseback riding, and visits to an organic garden. For adrenaline enthusiasts, rappelling is also available. Los Campesinos Ecolodge provides cozy, rustic cabins that can accommodate up to 35 guests. The on-site restaurant serves traditional cuisine prepared with local products. The ecolodge is not only a place to disconnect from urban life but also an example of how a community can coexist harmoniously with nature, offering a unique and enriching experience.
