    If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Nicoya. Head northwest on Route 21 towards the town of Curime. Continue on Route 21 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 160. Turn left onto Route 160 and follow the road for approximately 5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the direction to Cerro La Cruz Protected Zone. The protected zone is located at approximately coordinates 10.1306° N, -85.4556° W. You can park in the designated area nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    For those opting for public transportation, take a bus from Nicoya to Curime. Buses run regularly from the Nicoya bus station to Curime and the fare is usually around 1,500 CRC. Once in Curime, you may need to take a taxi or walk to the Cerro La Cruz Protected Zone, which is approximately 5 kilometers from the town center.
