Pagalú Hostel is centrally located in Puerto Viejo, making it easily accessible on foot from most points in town. From the main bus terminal, walk south on Avenida 69. The hostel will be on your left, a short distance from the main road. The walk is generally flat and takes about 5-10 minutes.

If arriving by bus from elsewhere in Costa Rica, you'll likely arrive at the main bus terminal in Puerto Viejo. From there, Pagalú Hostel is a short walk away (see walking directions). Local buses (Transportes MEPE) also operate along the coast. A single fare within Puerto Viejo is approximately ₡600 (USD 1.20).
