Boat
From La Pavona, the most common access point, boats depart several times daily. A boat ticket costs approximately $8 USD (4000 CRC) per person each way. The boat ride takes around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the tide. Purchase tickets at the main entrance to La Pavona. Be prepared to pay an extra fee for luggage. Alternatively, boats are available from Moin, though less frequent. This route takes approximately 3.5 hours and costs around $35 USD per person. From the Tortuguero dock, Cabinas Balcon del Mar is a short walk. Follow the main path through the village, heading north, approximately 100 meters from the water tank.
