Getting There

• Car

  To reach Daksa by car from the Dubrovnik Riviera, first head towards the city of Dubrovnik. If you are starting from the southern parts of the Riviera, take the D8 coastal road (also known as the Adriatic Highway) towards Dubrovnik. Once in Dubrovnik, follow signs for the Old Town. As you approach the Old Town, look for the road leading to the ferry port (Gruz). Park your car at a parking facility near the port, as cars are not allowed in the Old Town. From the port, you will need to take a boat to Daksa, which is about 1.5 kilometers away. Be aware that there may be a fee for parking in the port area, and the boat service may have a small fare as well.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from various locations in the Dubrovnik Riviera towards Dubrovnik's main bus station. Once you arrive at the bus station, you can either walk to the ferry port or take a local bus that goes directly to the port. From the ferry port, you will need to take a boat to Daksa. Be sure to check the local bus and ferry schedules for the latest information on timings. Note that there may be a small fee for the bus ride as well as for the ferry trip.

• Boat

  Regardless of whether you arrive by car or public transportation, you must take a boat to reach Daksa. The boats typically operate from the Gruz ferry port in Dubrovnik. The journey to Daksa takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Make sure to check the ferry schedules in advance, as they may vary by season and time of day. Tickets for the ferry can usually be purchased on-site at the port. Prices may vary, so it's a good idea to have some local currency on hand.
