If you're starting from the Old Town of Dubrovnik, head towards the Pile Gate, the main entrance to the city walls. From Pile Gate, keep walking along the Stradun, the main street of the Old Town, until you reach the southern end of the city walls near the Fort Bokar. Here, look for the signs directing you towards Tvrđava Svetog Ivana. Continue along the path that leads to the city walls and follow the signs until you reach a staircase leading down to the entrance of Tvrđava Svetog Ivana.

If you're at the Dubrovnik Harbour, start by walking towards the Old Town. You can follow the waterfront promenade, which will lead you into the Old Town. Once you reach Pile Gate, follow the previous instructions to navigate to Tvrđava Svetog Ivana.

From the Dubrovnik Cable Car station at Srđ Hill, walk back down towards the city. As you descend, you will reach the Old Town. From there, follow the main street, Stradun, towards Pile Gate and then to Tvrđava Svetog Ivana as described earlier.
