Walking
From the center of Makarska, head east towards the main road (D8). Walk along the promenade until you reach the intersection with D8. Turn left onto D8 and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you towards Žrnovo. When you reach the turn-off for Žrnovo, follow the signs, and you will see a pathway leading into the nature reserve Kočje. The entrance will be clearly marked.

Public Transport (Bus)
Start at the main bus station in Makarska. Look for the local bus that goes towards Žrnovo (check the schedule as buses may not run frequently). Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride which takes about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop for Žrnovo. From there, you may need to walk for a few minutes following the signs to the nature reserve Kočje. The entrance is well marked and you can ask locals for directions if needed.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Makarska. Start from the center and head towards the coastal promenade. Once you reach D8, turn left and cycle along the road. After about 1.5 kilometers, look for signs for Žrnovo and take the turn-off. The ride to Kočje is quite scenic and should take around 10-15 minutes. Follow the signs to the nature reserve entrance.
