Walking
Start your journey at the main square in Makarska, known as Trg Fra Andrije Kačića Mošinjskog. From the square, head south towards the waterfront promenade (Riva). Once you reach the promenade, turn left (east) and walk along the waterfront. Continue walking along the promenade for about 20-25 minutes until you reach the small ferry port. From here, you can take a local ferry or boat to Hvar. Ensure to check the ferry schedule in advance as it may vary by season.

From Makarska, walk to the main bus station located just north of the city center. Look for the buses heading to Hvar. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours. You might need to transfer in Split, so be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time for the latest routes and times. Once you arrive in Hvar, you can either walk or take a taxi to Sveta Nedjelja, which is approximately 15 km away.
