Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, take the D1 highway towards Prague. Follow the signs for the city center (Centrum). Once you reach Malá Strana, look for Mostecká street. The museum is located at Mostecká 46. There is limited street parking available, so be prepared to park in a nearby garage or use a public parking lot.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transport, take the metro to the 'Malostranská' station on line A. Once you exit the station, walk towards the river and cross the Vltava River using the 'Legií Bridge' (Most Legií). After crossing, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mostecká street. Turn left onto Mostecká street and walk for about 5 minutes. The museum will be on your right at Mostecká 46.

  • Tram

    Alternatively, you can take tram number 12, 15, or 20 to 'Malostranská' tram stop. After getting off, follow the same directions as from the metro station: walk towards the river, cross the Vltava River using the 'Legií Bridge,' then turn left onto Mostecká street. The museum is located at Mostecká 46, approximately a 5-minute walk from the tram stop.

    If you are already in the vicinity of Malá Strana, you can simply walk to the museum. From the Charles Bridge (Karlův most), head towards Mostecká street, which is located at the western end of the bridge. The museum is a short walk down Mostecká street at number 46.
