If driving from Český Krumlov, take the E55 northbound towards Velešín for approximately 20 km. As you approach Velešín, follow signs to the town center, then look for local signs for 'Zřícenina hradu Velešín'. Free parking is available near the castle ruins. Note that parking may be limited.

Public Transport
From Český Krumlov, take a bus towards Trhové Sviny and disembark at the Velešín-Trhové Sviny stop. The journey takes about 30 minutes. From the bus stop, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to the castle ruins. Head east on Jiráskova Street, then turn left onto the hiking path signposted towards the castle. Bus tickets from Český Krumlov to Velešín-Trhové Sviny cost approximately 50-100 Kč.

If you are already in Velešín, you can reach the castle ruins by walking. Start from the town center and head east on Jiráskova Street. Follow the signs for 'Zřícenina hradu Velešín'. The walk takes about 20 minutes and offers scenic views. The path is well-maintained for pedestrians.
