The Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts (MVCPA) is a vibrant cultural center in the heart of downtown Mountain View, California, hosting a diverse range of performances, art exhibits, and lectures since 1991. With three stages, the MVCPA is home to TheatreWorks, Peninsula Youth Theatre, and Upstage Theater.

Public Transport
The Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts is conveniently located a short, five-block walk from the Downtown Mountain View Transit Center. This transit hub is served by Caltrain, VTA Light Rail, and multiple VTA bus lines. From the transit center, walk south on Castro Street towards Mercy Street. The MVCPA will be on your left at the corner of Castro and Mercy Streets. A single ride on VTA Light Rail or VTA bus costs $2.50. Caltrain fares vary depending on the distance traveled. The Mountain View Community Shuttle is a free option with stops throughout the city.
Walking
The Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts is located at 500 Castro Street, at the corner of Castro and Mercy Streets. It is in downtown Mountain View, easily accessible on foot from nearby restaurants, shops, and other attractions. From anywhere in the downtown area, simply head towards the intersection of Castro and Mercy Streets.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft provide a convenient way to reach the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. Simply request a drop-off at 500 Castro Street, Mountain View. Expect to pay between $8 and $15 for a ride within the downtown Mountain View area, depending on distance and demand.
Parking
Free parking is available in the Mountain View Civic Center garage located directly under the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. The entrance to the garage is on the 400 block of Mercy Street. Additional parking is available in the adjacent Bryant Street lot and in the parking structure on the corner of Bryant and California streets. Parking can be limited during popular events, so arrive early.
