Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to Copenhagen city center. From there, head northeast on Blegdamsvej, which will lead you toward Østerbrogade. Continue on Østerbrogade until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Strandvejen. Take the second exit onto Strandvejen, and keep going straight until you see a sign for Kastellet. There is limited parking available near Kastellet, so be prepared to park in nearby streets and walk to Kastellet Bro, located at Kastellet 1, 2100 København.

• Public Transportation - Metro

  To reach Kastellet Bro by public transportation, take the Metro Line M3 (Cityringen) to the 'Kongens Nytorv' station. Once you exit the station, walk toward Nyhavn, then head northeast along Holmens Kanal until you reach the intersection with Amalienborg Palace. From there, continue toward the waterfront and you will find Kastellet. It is about a 15-minute walk from the Metro station to Kastellet Bro, located at Kastellet 1, 2100 København.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  You can also take bus number 1A or 26 from various locations in Copenhagen. Board the bus and get off at the 'Kastellet' stop. From the bus stop, walk a short distance to Kastellet Bro, which is located at Kastellet 1, 2100 København. The bus fare is approximately 24 DKK for a single journey within the city.

• Bike

  For a more scenic route, consider renting a bike. Copenhagen is very bike-friendly, and you can use one of the city's bike-sharing services. Head toward the city center and follow the designated bike lanes to Kastellet. The ride from the city center to Kastellet Bro will take about 10-15 minutes, and once you arrive, you can park your bike in the designated bike parking area.
