Walking
If you are starting from the city center (Rådhuspladsen), head southeast towards Vesterbrogade. Walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with H.C. Andersens Boulevard. Turn right and continue until you reach the waterfront. Follow the waterfront path, which will lead you to Christianshavn. Once you reach the bridge (Inderhavnsbroen), cross it and you will find yourself at Christianshavns Kanal.

From central Copenhagen, take the Metro Line M1 (the blue line) from either Kongens Nytorv Station or Nørreport Station towards Vestamager. Get off at Christianshavn Station.
