Getting There

  • Car

    From North Zealand, take the E47 motorway towards Copenhagen. Continue on the E47 for about 30 km. Take exit 19 towards Amagerbrogade and continue straight onto Amagerbrogade. After about 5 km, turn left onto Strandvænget, and then take the first right onto Kilometerbroen. Amager Strandpark will be on your right. Note that there is usually no entry fee for the park itself, but parking may incur costs depending on the area.

  • Public Transportation

    Start by taking the train from any station in North Zealand to Copenhagen Central Station (København H). The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. From Copenhagen Central Station, transfer to Metro Line M2 (towards Lufthavnen) and get off at the Amager Strand station. Exit the station and walk towards the beach area, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs to Amager Strandpark along the waterfront. A single ticket for the train and metro costs around DKK 36.

  • Bus

    If you prefer traveling by bus, take bus 350S from a bus stop near your location in North Zealand towards the station 'København H'. Once you reach the central station, you can transfer to Metro Line M2 towards Lufthavnen and disembark at Amager Strand. The total travel time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on waiting times. The bus fare is about DKK 36 as well.
