Getting There

• Bus

  Start at any bus stop in central Copenhagen. Look for bus numbers 1A or 5C, both of which head towards Amager. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop 'Amagerbro'. From there, transfer to bus number 77. Ride for about 10 minutes until you arrive at 'Frederiksholm'. The island will be visible as you approach, and you can disembark at the nearest bus stop.

• Metro

  Head to the nearest metro station, such as 'København H' (Copenhagen Central Station). Take the Metro Line M1 towards Vestamager. After about 5 stops, get off at 'Amager Strand'. From there, exit the metro station and walk towards the waterfront. Follow the path along the water for approximately 10-15 minutes until you reach Frederiksholm.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing services in Copenhagen. Start from the city center and head towards Amager. Use the bike lanes and follow the signs for 'Amager'. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes. Follow your map or GPS to navigate directly to Frederiksholm, which is located near the water.

• Walking

  From the city center (e.g., Rådhuspladsen), begin walking towards the waterfront. Head southeast, following the signs for Amager. It’s a pleasant walk of approximately 30-40 minutes. You will pass several parks and local shops along the way. Once you reach the waterfront, continue along the path until you see Frederiksholm.
