    If you are in the center of Sønderborg, start at the Sønderborg Castle (Sønderborg Slot). From the castle, head southeast towards the main pedestrian street, Søndergade. Continue straight on Søndergade, passing by shops and cafes. After approximately 600 meters, you will reach the end of the street where it meets the harbor. Take a right turn onto the waterfront promenade (Kystpromenaden) and enjoy the view. Continue walking along the promenade for about 300 meters until you reach the bridge that crosses the Als Sund. Cross the bridge and proceed onto the road leading to the bus station, where you can catch a bus to Flensburg. Board Bus Line 100 towards Flensburg and get off at 'Nordergraben'. From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes to reach the Catholic Church of St. Mary, located at Nordergraben 36.
