From the Portsmouth Ferry Terminal or the center of Portsmouth, Coconut Beach is easily accessible on foot. Head south along the main road towards Glanvillia. The beach is located near Picard Estate, approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the terminal. The path is generally flat and well-maintained.

Local transport (LT) or minibuses are available along the main west coast road between Roseau & Portsmouth. These buses do not have set schedules, but are easily secured between 7 am and 6 pm Monday to Saturday. The cost can range from EC$1.50 to EC$12 (US$0.55 to US$3.85), depending on the distance traveled.
