If you are driving from Santiago, take the Autopista Duarte (DR-1) towards La Vega. Once you reach La Vega, continue on the road towards Constanza (DR-66). After approximately 30 km, you will enter Sabana Quéliz. Look for signs directing you to Valle Nuevo National Park. The park entrance is located at coordinates 18.707092, -70.605155. Be aware that some sections of the road may be unpaved or in poor condition, so drive cautiously.

To reach Valle Nuevo National Park via public transport, start by boarding a bus from Santiago to Constanza. Buses leave from the main terminal and the fare is approximately 150-200 DOP. Once you arrive in Constanza, hire a local taxi to take you to the park entrance in Sabana Quéliz. Make sure to negotiate the fare in advance, as prices can vary, but expect to pay around 500-800 DOP for the trip.
