Once you arrive at the bus terminal in Cabarete, you can walk or take a local motoconcho (motorcycle taxi) to Kite Beach.

If you prefer a faster option, you can take a motoconcho from Puerto Plata to Kite Beach. Simply flag down a motoconcho driver and ask them to take you to Kite Beach in Cabarete. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes and costs approximately 400-500 Dominican Pesos. Be sure to agree on the fare before starting the journey.

Walking from Cabarete
If you arrive in Cabarete by bus and wish to walk to Kite Beach, exit the bus terminal and head east along the main road (Carretera Principal). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers (around 20-30 minutes walking). You will pass by various shops and restaurants. Look for signs directing you to Kite Beach or follow the beach road once you get close to the shoreline. The beach is well-known and should be easily recognizable.
