Walking
If you are in Puerto Plata city center, start by heading towards the beach area. Walk along Calle 12 de Julio until you reach the main road, Avenida George Washington. Continue walking towards the east until you reach the intersection with Avenida Manolo Tavárez Justo. Turn left onto Avenida Manolo Tavárez Justo and continue walking until you see signs for Playa Dorada. The journey will take around 30 minutes on foot.

From the city center, head to the nearest bus stop on Calle 12 de Julio. Look for a 'carro público' (shared taxi) heading towards Playa Dorada. You can ask locals for help if you're unsure. The fare is around 50 Dominican Pesos. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Playa Dorada, follow the signs to SeaPro Divers, which is located along the beach area.

Motorcycle Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a motorcycle taxi (motoconcho). Find a motoconcho driver in the city center, and tell them you want to go to Playa Dorada. The fare should be around 150 Dominican Pesos. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to ask them to drop you off at the entrance of Playa Dorada, and from there, follow the signs to SeaPro Divers.
