If you are driving, start from the main road in Sierra de Bahoruco. Head south on the Carretera de Bahoruco (Route 44). Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Neiba. From Neiba, take Route 1 heading west. After about 10 kilometers, look for signs indicating Rio Partido. Follow the local roads, which may be unpaved, towards the river. Ensure you have a GPS or a reliable map as some areas may lack clear signage.

To reach Rio Partido via public transportation, start by taking a guagua (shared taxi) from the center of Sierra de Bahoruco to Neiba. The fare is usually around 50 Dominican Pesos (DOP). Once in Neiba, transfer to a local guagua heading towards the direction of Route 1. Inform the driver that you are going to Rio Partido; he might drop you off at the nearest point to the river. Be prepared to walk approximately 1-2 kilometers from the drop-off point to reach the river.
