Car
From Sierra de Neiba, head northwest on the main road towards the town of Neiba. Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Carretera Enriquillo (DR-1). Turn left onto DR-1, which will take you directly toward Lake Enriquillo. Follow the road for approximately 30 kilometers. Keep an eye out for road signs indicating Lake Enriquillo, and after passing through a few small villages, you'll arrive at the lake area. Parking is available near the shore; however, be prepared for some unpaved sections of the road as you approach the lake.

Public Transportation
From Sierra de Neiba, take a local 'carro publico' (shared taxi) heading towards Neiba. The fare is typically around 50 Dominican Pesos. Once you reach Neiba, transfer to a bus or another 'carro publico' heading toward Lake Enriquillo. The cost for this leg of the journey should be approximately 100 Dominican Pesos. The bus ride will take about an hour. Inform the driver that you want to go to Lake Enriquillo, and they will drop you off at a suitable point near the lake.

Walking
If you find yourself close to the lake after reaching the nearest drop-off point by car or public transport, you may need to walk the last stretch. The area around Lake Enriquillo is scenic but can be hot, so ensure you have water and sun protection. Follow any marked trails or paths leading to the lakeshore. The walk could take anywhere between 10 to 30 minutes depending on your proximity to the lake.
