As you approach Puerto Escondido, look for the signs directing you towards Parque Nacional Sierra De Baoruco. Once you see the signs, turn left onto the access road that leads to the park entrance. The park is located at the coordinates 18.3018894, -71.5060351, which you can enter into your GPS for precise navigation.

To reach Parque Nacional Sierra De Baoruco via public transportation, start by taking a guagua (local minibus) from Barahona to Puerto Escondido. The guaguas leave from the main bus terminal in Barahona, and the trip takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Puerto Escondido, ask the driver or locals for directions to the park entrance. You may need to take a short taxi ride or walk to the access road leading into the park, which is approximately 5 minutes away from the town center.

If you are coming from the direction of Santo Domingo, take the Autopista 6 de Noviembre highway towards Barahona. After approximately 150 kilometers, exit onto Carretera Barahona-Puerto Escondido. Continue for 30 kilometers until you reach Puerto Escondido, then follow the same instructions as mentioned above to find the park entrance.
