Walking
From the central square in Mindo, head south on Calle 29 de Octubre towards the main road. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the E28 highway. Turn left and walk along the road for about 5 minutes until you reach the bus terminal. Here, you can catch a bus to Quito. Make sure to ask the bus driver to drop you off at the 'Centro Histórico' area in Quito, which is the historic center of the city. Once you arrive in Quito, walk towards the 'Plaza Grande' after getting off the bus, and from there, follow the signs towards 'Basilica of Our Lady of Mercy,' which is located at the intersection of Chile and Quito streets.

At the Mindo bus terminal, purchase a ticket for Quito. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. When you arrive in Quito, disembark at the 'Centro Histórico' terminal. From there, walk towards the 'Plaza Grande' and then head to the intersection of Chile and Quito streets. The Basilica of Our Lady of Mercy will be at that intersection. Look for the tall spires of the basilica as a landmark.
