Walking
From the central square of Mindo, head south on Calle 9 de Octubre towards the main road. When you reach the intersection, take a left onto the main road (E28). Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the small bus terminal in Mindo. Look for the bus that goes to Quito. Once you board the bus, enjoy the scenic 1-1.5 hour ride to Quito. When you arrive at the Terminal Quitumbe in Quito, exit the terminal and find the Ecovía bus station nearby. Take the Ecovía bus towards the stop named 'La Mariscal.' Disembark at the 'La Mariscal' station and transfer to a local bus heading to 'Panecillo'. Once you reach the Panecillo area, follow the signs or ask locals to guide you towards the Virgin of the Panecillo monument, which is a short walk uphill.

From Mindo, take a bus to Quito at the local bus terminal. Once you arrive in Quito, go to the main bus terminal 'Quitumbe'. From there, take the Metrobus (Ecovía) line towards 'La Mariscal'. Get off at 'La Mariscal' stop. From there, catch a local bus that goes to 'Panecillo'. The buses are frequent, so you won't have to wait long. Once you arrive at the Panecillo, it's a short walk to the Virgin of the Panecillo. Just follow the signs or ask for directions from locals.
