Getting There

Car
If you have access to a car, start your journey from Tena, one of the main towns in the Oriente region. Head southeast on the E45 road towards El Chaco. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach the town of El Chaco. From there, continue on the E45 for another 40 kilometers until you come to the entrance of the Napo Wildlife Center. Please note that the last part of the journey requires you to park your car at the designated area. A boat transfer is included in your accommodation package; the boat ride will take you directly to the ecolodge.

To reach the Napo Wildlife Center by public transportation, start in Tena. You can take a bus from Tena to El Chaco. Buses run regularly and the fare is typically around $1-2. Once you arrive in El Chaco, you will need to arrange for a taxi or another means of transportation to the entrance of the Napo Wildlife Center. From there, you will need to take a boat transfer, which is usually included in your booking fee. Make sure to confirm the boat schedule ahead of time with the ecolodge.
